Melanie & I are loving working together so closely, so we are offering another special for this month.  All boudoir shoots are done Tuesday – Friday at Mel’s home in Ponchatoula.  We have so many different area’s there to shoot in, so we can get different looks.

My long-time friend, Lisa came to visit yesterday.  I swear no matter how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other, we pick right back up like no time has passed!  That’s true friendship right there.  She’s been wanting to do some boudoir photos, and finally decided “What the heck!” – her fiance’, Joe is gonna love these.  Only sharing one for now, but more later – PROMISE!!!

Had the pleasure of working with Mrs. S last week for a quick boudoir session.  Hair & Make-up is by the ever fabulous Melanie McKneely Taylor.  This image has been cropped so I can share here. 

It’s not to late to get in on Melanie & I’s specials for the month of January – just in time for Valentine’s Day gift giving.  Sessions held (Tuesday – Friday) in January are $85 – you’ll have the star treatment.  Hair style & airbrush make-up application by Melanie followed by a 40 minute shoot with me.  These sessions are being held in Melanie’s home in Ponchatoula – we will have a bedroom set, and several other areas to use as well.  You can have two outfits.  Images will be retouched & presented in a private, password protected gallery for you to make your purchasing decisions for a period of 3 days.  Email us robindepaula@gmail.com to book your appointment.  We look forward to working with you soon.

I remember sitting across from Erin & her fiance’ when we first met, and he was trying to talk her into adding a boudoir shoot to their package.  Erin’s reaction was “I don’t think so . . . “  Well she caved, and he got his wish!  We recently got together for her boudoir session, and had so much fun & LOTS of laughs!! At the end, she said even though she was apprehensive about the session at first, she had a great time!  SCORE!!! That means I did my job right! LOL.

Up until now, I’ve only offered a 5×7 little black book for boudoir gift giving.  But I’ve decided to offer custom albums as well.  I just put one together that I will have here at the studio as a sample, and wanted to share a few of the layouts with you.

I am so excited to have this new blogsite, so I can share some of my previous boudoir sessions. Taylor opted to do a session before her wedding last September as a gift to her hubby. In his words, “WOW”!!! I think the gift was definetely a hit!!

This was a very unique session – we had access to a bar in the French Quarter to shoot these at. These are just a few that I can share with my readers.

I love when I have an immediate connection with my clients, Lexi was no exception. We hit it off right away! We even went shopping together for some outfits & jewlery to wear for her session. We started the morning off, at Melanie’s studio for hair & make-up – I feel this is a MUST have!! Melanie will have you dolled up, and photo ready. Her work is AMAZING!!

After her session, this is what Lexi had to say about her experience with us:

“Robin, you are amazing at what you do!! You are so much fun to be around, even when you’re not behind the camera. You made sure I was comfortable with every pose, and guided me throughout the entire shoot. I love how you knew exactly where I should look, turn my head, place my hands, etc to make me look STUNNING! My hair and make-up was UNBELIEVABLE!! Melanie did an outstanding job!! Even though I was only dolled up for a short while, I felt like a SUPER-STAR!! . . . I am so glad and thankful that I got to work with the both of you! Hope to be back soon for another shoot. Until then, we wanted to announce our Valentine’s 2011 Special – this will give you a taste of what a regular session is like.  These boudoir mini-sessions will be held in our studio in Hammond, LA.  It’s a quick 30 minute, one outfit session.  You’ll receive a custom valentine card for your sweetheart & a 5×7 bed-side, desk print.  An ordering session will follow your boudoir session here at the studio so we can get your images back in time for valentine’s day gift giving!!
