{silly boy, silly faces}

I had the pleasure of 2nd shooting a wedding this past weekend with Rachel Erin from Baton Rouge.  I met up with the guys to get some fun shots of them, while Rachel was with the girls doing the “getting ready” shots.

I couldn’t resist shooting this little boy - could have done that all day long, cause he was so stinkin’ adorable!!  For those of you interested in the technical aspect - these were shot with my 10-22mm lens on my back-up camera (canon 20d), with natural light.

{marina & nigel: the slideshow}

Without further ado, here is the much awaited slideshow . . . . this was my last destination wedding of 2008!!! Thanks guys - Punta Cana was just the place to end my travels for the year!!!

{me & my sister}

Had such a wonderful day off yesterday!!  I had lunch with my sister, Paula at Olive Garden in Kenner.  You may ask what makes that so special??  Well, Paula & I haven’t seen or spoken to one another in 16 years - yes, you read right - 16 YEARS!!  We were both adopted at birth.  We met when I was 18, but weren’t ready for a relationship . . . . bonding over lunch & wine was AWESOME - seems like that gap of years never existed!!  We have so much in common, it’s weird!!  She’s into photography too, and has some beautiful work.  We both forgot our cameras at home, so the crappy cell phone camera had to do (will be taking some more photos tomorrow out at City Park in New Orleans - so be on the lookout).

{album design: Jocelyn & Cory}

Another album design down, and only a few more until I’m completely caught up! Yahhh!!! Seriously, I had no clue that we would be gone away from home so much this year with my hubby being sick - desperately trying to catch up on everyone’s albums. Thanks to everyone’s patience during this stressed time!!! Mucho Gracias to all my wonderful clients.

Anyways, on to the good stuff . . . Jocelyn & Cory were married earlier this year in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. They were wedding #2 of the 4 that I shot during my 11 days there. Jocelyn left no detail sparred - everything was just impeccable!!

I do not take credit for this album design, as this is a template that I purchased from another very talented photographer.  I can only take credit for the beautiful images!!

{me & david}

Oh, how I wish I had some new pics of David & I .  .  . maybe soon!  In the mean time, all I have of us is phone camera self portraits!

{trash the dress: Marina & Nigel}

One last teaser posting before Patsy & I head down to the French Quarter to shoot with Sandra O’Claire again this evening.

We did a Trash the Dress session the morning after Marina & Nigel’s wedding.  I pulled one to post as a teaser - this is my fave . . . love how they were backlit from the amazing morning sunrise!!!

{i do’s: Audrey & Josh}

I had the priviledge to 2nd shoot this wedding with Sandra O’Claire.  Audrey & Josh were married at St. George’s Episcopal Church on St. Charles, and then their reception was at The Tea Room at Audobon Zoo .  .  . what a fun time was had by all!!!  These are just some teasers, more to come!

{marina & the girls}

Just one teaser now of Marina’s fun girls session . . . we did this session the evening before her & Nigel’s beautiful destination wedding in Punta Cana, Domincian Republic.  More fun images to come .  .  . be on the lookout.

Marina & her bridesmaids!!

{halloween sock hop}
