With the opening of the new studio, we thought we’d offer a Christmas in July special for all new wedding clients that are ready to book with us.
Until 7/15/2009, book with us to receive up to 6 hours of wedding day coverage with an online proofing gallery for 2 months, by only paying a shooting fee of $600 as your retainer.

I am so pleased to announce that I now have a store front in Hammond. I have partnered up with a good friend, LaShondra Varnado, and will be located in her bridal salon at 2005 Anita Blvd, just off of South Morrison. I will be working by appointment only. All bridal consults will be done there, and we’ll now be offering studio styled sessions for those not wanting on-location sessions.

I’m desperately trying to get caught up on proofing, posting, and prepping files for clients since our long stay at MD Anderson Cancer Center. I just finished up Alaina & Ben’s proofing tonight, and in love with many new faves.

This past weekend was absolutely AMAZING!! Shelley & Amos have been planning their day for quite some time now, and I feel honored to have been able to document the day for them. I am about to head to Houston, but promised Shelley some teasers before they head to Mexico on their honeymoon at the end of the week.

I absolutely love it when my child agrees to let me take his photograph - surely doesn’t happen very often!! He was assisting me with an engagement session on Sunday, and while my couple were changing clothes, I managed to get a few images that I am in love with!! Yahhh, Mom! Maybe he’s going to be more cooperative for me now that he’s outgrowing the silliness! Although, he’s still quite silly when he wants to be.
Isn’t he handsome? I’m probably just a little partial, but I sure think so!

When I did Charli’s bridal session a couple weeks back, she mentioned that Charlie-Boy didn’t really like being in front of the camera. So I persuaded them to do a mini-session just so he could meet me before the wedding & see that it’s not all that bad with me behind the camera. We drove over to Downtown Covington on Sunday evening for a quick session, and we were completely amazed! Charlie-Boy actually liked having his pics taken!!! I had already met Charli’s mom at the bridal session, but got to meet Charlie-Boy’s mom this time. I’m so looking forward to their wedding in July!
I think my mission was accomplished! Another groom at ease before the big day!!

Additional hours of coverage can be added at the rate of $250 per hour ($100 discount off of our normal hourly rates).
Want unlimited wedding day coverage? These special rates apply: 2009 - $2000 / 2010 - $2400. A complimentary engagement session is also included with the unlimited wedding day coverage (the session & online proofing only - no prints / files are included with the complimentary session).

A signed contract & non-refundable booking fee retainer of $375 is required to book your wedding date. Booking fee retainer reserves your date only - no additional commissions will be taken. Is not applied towards your total contracted amount, but half ($187.50) is refunded back to you post-wedding in the form of a gallery coupon to purchase enlargements**applies to new bookings only**
I did Bridget’s bridals a little while back, and can finally share them since she & Matthew are saying their I Do’s today! Be on the lookout for pics from their wedding in the next couple of days.
Bridget is an elementary school teacher, so we just had to go play on the playground!! We had so much fun!
